UCLA, LSU, Oklahoma & Denver Advance To 2019 NCAA Finals

After placing in the top two in their respective semifinals, UCLA, LSU, Oklahoma, and Denver have qualified to the first Four on the Floor NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship final. In semifinal I, UCLA finished in first with a 197.6750, and LSU finished in second with a 197.5125. The SEC is known for having the top gymnastics teams in the NCAA, and with that comes some of the top individual gymnasts. Now that the NCAA Championships will only include eight teams instead of 12, some teams that are used to contending and advancing to NCAAs will end up sending only individual gymnasts to the national postseason. In a battle between the top two teams in the Pac-12, it came down to the final rotation. UCLA had the edge early on vault and maintained the lead through the second rotation after some uncharacteristic mistakes from both squads.
