Based on the outlined selection procedures, World individual bronze medalists Yul Moldauer of Wellington, Colo./5280 Gymnastics (floor, 2017) and Donnell Whittenburg of Baltimore, Md./Salto Gymnastics (vault, 2015) automatically qualified to the 2021 U.S. Men’s Artistic World Championships team based on their performances at the Worlds selection camp September 14-18 at the Colorado Springs Olympic and Paralympic Training Center.

The 2021 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships will be held in Kitakyushu, Japan, from October 18–24, 2021. The Men's world-championship trials are September 14-19 at the Colorado Springs Olympic and Paralympic Training Center.

TOKYO, August 3, 2021 – On the final day of the artistic gymnastics competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, Simone Biles of Spring, Texas, secured the bronze medal on balance beam. Sunisa Lee of St. Paul, Minn., Brody Malone of Belfast, Tenn., and Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif., were also in action.

TOKYO, July 28, 2021 – U.S. gymnasts Brody Malone of Belfast, Tenn., and Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif., were 10th and 12th, respectively in the men’s all-around competition at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Wednesday at Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Mikulak, who is competing in his third Olympics, posted an 83.164, finishing just behind Malone who notched an 84.465 across all six apparatus.

ST. LOUIS, June 26, 2021 – USA Gymnastics has named five athletes to the U.S. Olympic team for men’s artistic gymnastics following the conclusion of the men’s competition at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials held June 24 and 26 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.

With a score of 85.25 points, Brody Malone declared his performance at Championships last month wasn’t a fluke. Malone earned or tied top scores on two of the six apparatus on Thursday, leading the group after Day 1 on the men’s competition at the U.S. Olympic gymnastics trials. From the last two NCAA seasons where he was the all-around winner, to the U.S. Championships where he also won the all-around, Malone has made the case that he’s the real deal.

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 6, 2021 – Brody Malone of Belfast, Tenn./Stanford University continued to add to his collection of 2021 hardware Saturday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Malone, who collected NCAA team and all-around championships in April, captured the U.S. senior men’s all-around title with a 170.700 across two days of competition and earned a second gold medal on vault. World medalists Yul Moldauer of Arvada, Colo./5280 Gymnastics (167.950) and Sam Mikulak of Newport Coast, Calif./U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center (167.400) finished second and third.

Two-time Olympian Sam Mikulak admits he’s having a case of senioritis. He’s afflicted by senioritis, not because of a decline in his gymnastic, but because he’s finding himself becoming sentimental.

FORT WORTH, Texas, June 3, 2021 – Reigning NCAA team and all-around champion Brody Malone of Belfast, Tenn./Stanford University paced the senior all-around competition from start to finish on Day 1 of the 2021 U.S. Gymnastics Championships Thursday at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Malone sits atop the field with an 86.250 at the midway point of the competition. Yul Moldauer of Arvada, Colo./5280 Gymnastics (83.600) and Brandon Briones of Gilbert, Ariz./Stanford University (83.600) rounded out the top three.

INDIANAPOLIS, March 3, 2021 – USA Gymnastics today announced the addition of eight gymnasts to the U.S. Men’s National Team. These individuals were named to the team by the Men’s Program Committee who considered results from last weekend’s Winter Cup in addition to submitted petitions. They join the ten gymnasts who automatically qualified to the team through their performances at Winter Cup. All 18 gymnasts have been named to the National Team through the 2021 U.S. Championships in June.

Though it is now expanding to include women’s artistic gymnastics, the Winter Cup has always been a men’s competition, and the 2021 field is shaping up to be a fun one! Held in Indianapolis, Indiana, the meet takes place February 26th-28th and has both a senior and junior competition.
