Looking sharper than ever, the Lady Lions were clearly the superior team in warmup. Possessing cleaner lines and more dynamics and amplitude than their opponents, all Lindenwood needed to do was keep it together for their 2nd home meet of the season.

The Lady Lions will return to the Hyland Arena floor on February 9 as they will host Bowling Green University. The competition will begin at 6 p.m.The Lady Lions are showing us they are real NCAA Contenders proving in last weekend's dual against Texas Woman's University Denton, Texas that they are still growing more and more fierce with each passing week. Setting new team records in every single event, Lindenwood posted scores of 47.475 in the vault, 47.925, 48.250 in the beam , 47.600 in the floor exercise and a new team AA record of 191.250.Emily Turik, with a breakthrough performance, gained the AA title by beating Texas' 2nd place finisher by nearly a point! Emily was named Midwest Independent Conference Gymnast of the Week, LU's first athlete to ever receive that honor.
