Over 130 gymnasts from 35 countries are set to compete in Glasgow, Scotland, for the 2018 European Championships. The women's competition begins on August 2 and concludes August 12. NCAA Gymnastics tends to emphasize execution over difficulty. The scoring is based on the 10.0 system from the J.O. Code of Points, and performing a clean routine that hits all the composition requirements is favored over throwing more difficult skills that might be a bit messy. The Women's Uneven Bars Final will be one of the tightest races at the top, with the top eight qualifiers making a run for the gold, silver and bronze medals. To give you an idea of just how close this race will be, the qualifying round ended with the top four gymnasts finishing only 0.183 apart.
