INDIANAPOLIS, April 26, 2021 – USA Gymnastics has announced U.S. team selections for the World Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships and World Age Group competitions slated for June 21-July 4 at Vernets Sports Center in Geneva, Switzerland. The team was named following the conclusion of the U.S. Acrobatic World Team Trials, which were held over the weekend at Community Sports and Wellness in Pendleton, Ind.

AUSTIN, Texas (January 27, 2020) – USA Gymnastics (USAG), the national governing body for the sport of gymnastics in the U.S., and FloSports, a leading sports streaming and original content network, announced today they have entered a multi-year digital streaming partnership to deliver gymnastics competition programming to global audiences through FloSports’ award-winning digital platform. The gymnastics community will now be able to engage with the sport like never before, providing access to previously unaired content, including state, regional and national events spanning all five competitive disciplines – acrobatic, men’s artistic, women’s artistic, rhythmic, and trampoline and tumbling.

INDIANAPOLIS, December 21, 2020 — The 2021 USA Gymnastics for All National Championships and GymFest is slated for June 16-19 at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz. Gymnastics for All, also known as group gymnastics, includes competitive and non-competitive opportunities in addition to HUGS, a program for athletes with special needs. The four-day GfA event showcases nearly 500 athletes participating in Power TeamGym, Acrobatics and Tumbling, GymFest, and the Gym for Life Challenge.

Though 2020 had fewer gymnastics meets than years past, there were still a ton of memorable moments this year. Here’s a look back at the top gym moments of 2020 in no particular order -  the good, the bad, and the...dare we say...unprecedented. 

INDIANAPOLIS, December 12, 2020 – USA Gymnastics will conclude its three-part fall series on diversity, equity, and inclusion in gymnastics with an LGBTQ-focused panel on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. The hour-long virtual session will begin at 1 p.m. ET.

USA Gymnastics announced the 2021 USAG Development Program National Championships will be held May 11-16, 2021, at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. For the first time, the event will bring together gymnasts from the men’s and women’s artistic disciplines. More than 1,500 athletes are expected to compete.

After months without international competitions, gymnastics fans can mark their calendars for a treat at the beginning of November! On November 8th, a competition named “Friendship and Solidarity” will take place in Japan. As the name suggests, this one-day competition will be fun and lighthearted, getting gymnasts back into competition mode.

With universities across the country facing budget cuts, college gymnastics programs are being eliminated or are on the brink of being cut. College gymnastics needs your help and support more than ever. 

INDIANAPOLIS, September 28, 2020 – USA Gymnastics today announced the line-up for the first of three fall 2020 panels focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and bias in gymnastics. Panelists will discuss their experiences and insights, share their suggestions for the sport, and provide advice for community members who are hoping to create a more inclusive and equitable culture within gymnastics.
