In the wake of Aly Raisman coming out with her personal experiences of sexual abuse by former USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar, she tweeted a passionate note about victim shaming:

Final Five teammate Gabby Douglas tweeted a response to Raisman with her opinions, to which Simone Biles rebuked in a tweet of her own.

Douglas later deleted her tweet and followed up with an apology for the way her initial response to Raisman was worded.

Raisman has said that she will keep fighting fiercely for justice and proper treatment of women until she sees the change that is needed.
I'm just getting started, and I’m not going to stop until I get what I want, which is change.
