Following the conclusion of the 2018 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, USA Gymnastics has named the U.S. women's team for the 2018 Pan American Championships.

U.S. Names Women's Team For 2018 Pan American Championships

Following the conclusion of the 2018 U.S. Gymnastics Championships, USA Gymnastics has named the U.S. women's team for the 2018 Pan American Championships, set to be held Sept. 14-16, in Lima Peru. The championships serves as the qualification for the 2019 Pan American Games, which will also be held in Lima, Peru. 

Senior Pan American Championships Team 
Jade Carey, Phoenix, Ariz./Arizona Sunrays
Kara Eaker, Grain Valley, Missouri/ Great American Gymnastics Express
Shilese Jones, Westerville, Ohio/Future Gymnastics Academy
Grace McCallum, Isanti, Minn./Twin City Twisters
Trinity Thomas, York, Pennsylvania/Prestige
Alternate: Alyona Shchennikova, Evergreen, Colo./5280 Gymnastics 

All six gymnasts competed all-around at the Championships, placing fourth through ninth place in the following order: McCallum, Jones, Carey, Eaker, Thomas, Shchennikova. Simone Biles took the all-around gold followed by Morgan Hurd in second and Riley McCusker in third.
