The annual Brestyan’s Las Vegas Invitational will take place this week from February 8-11, and FloGymnastics will be on site and live-streaming the level 10 sessions. Some of the top level 10 gymnasts in the country will compete on Friday and one session on Saturday this weekend.
Club gyms participating include Metroplex, Salcianu, Texas Dreams, AOGC, and Brestyan’s, to name a few. We've highlighted some of the top level 10s to watch out for at the competition — check it out below.
1. Chloe Widner | Texas Dreams
Chloe Widner is a Texas Dreams gymnast who placed second in the all-around in her group at J.O. nationals last year. She also tied for first on floor, scoring a 9.675, and took second on vault with a 9.75. Widner’s floor routine is one to watch for — she’s got the captivating Texas Dreams choreography and big tumbling, including a piked full-in for her first pass. Widner plans to attend the University of Arizona in 2019.

2. Milan Clausi | Olympus
Milan Clausi, daughter of 1988 U.S. Olympian Melissa Marlowe, competes for Olympus and tied for first place in the all-around at the 2017 J.O. Nationals in the Senior D group. Clausi is skilled across all four, but she is particularly good on beam and floor. Her floor routine includes a big full-in as her opening pass, and her beam set is solid and controlled. This year will be Clausi’s last as a club gymnast, and she is due to start at Cal Berkeley next year.

3. Amoree Lockhart | Empire
Empire’s Amoree Lockhart placed fourth in the all-around at J.O. nationals last year, took third place on bars, and tied for third on floor. Lockhart also competed at the Nastia Liukin Cup last year, and she’s due to start competing with the Oklahoma Sooners in 2020.

4. Abby Brenner | Metroplex
Abby Brenner was one our "gymnasts to watch" at the Metroplex Challenge a few weeks ago as well, and you’ll have a chance to see her compete once again this week at Brestyan’s Invitational. Brenner will be starting at the University of Michigan next year, and she’s at the top of the J.O. field at the moment, having placed first in the all-around at J.O. nationals last year.

5. Colbi Flory | Texas Dreams
A future UCLA Bruin, Colbi Flory has competed in both the elite and J.O. fields. In 2016, she competed at the P&G Championships in the junior division and tied for fourth on uneven bars and placed fifth on beam. Last year, Flory placed eighth in the all-around at the Nastia Liukin Cup in the junior division, and she took first place on beam at the 2017 J.O. Nationals, scoring a 9.7. She put up impressive numbers at the recent Texas Prime meet, scoring a 9.7 on bars and 9.75 on floor.
