Marvin Kimble, 2017 World Championships team member, took the silver medal on high bar at the 2017 Cottbus World Cup in Cottbus, Germany.

Also winning medals in the men's high bar final was Germany’s Andreas Bretscheider, who secured gold with a 14.566, along with Norway’s Pietro Giachino, who took the bronze with a 14.0
Allan Bower of the University of Oklahoma also competed for the USA and took fourth in the floor final with a 13.966. There were no U.S. women competing in Cottbus.
