2013 Honda Award Winner - Bridget Sloan, Florida

The Honda Sports Award acknowledges athletic achievement as well as scholastics and community involvement, and is given to female athletes in 12 different NCAA-sanctioned sports throughout the year. Each Honda Sports Award winner is recognized as the top collegiate female athlete in her sport, and the award is considered by many as one of the highest honors a female college athlete can receive in the nation.

Meet the 2014 Honda Award Nominees:
Kim Jacob - Alabama
The Alabama senior is an 11-time All-American and the 2014 NCAA All Around Champion.  Jacob earned 2014 First Team All-American honors in the all around and on the uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. 

Bridget Sloan -Florida
The Gator sophmore is the only gymnast to ever win U.S. (2009), World (2009) and NCAA (2013) all around titles. Sloan is 2014 NCAA champion on the uneven bars and the 2013 Honda Award winner.  

Katherine Grable - Arkansas
The 2014 SEC Gymnast of the Year was the most decorated athlete at the 2014 NCAA Championships winning the vault and floor title along with a second place finish in the all around.

Emily Wong - Nebraska
The Nebraska senior won 32 event titles and was named Big Ten Gymnast of the week five times in 2014. Wong was undefeated in the all around during the regular season and a finalist for the prestigious AAI Award.
