Nabieva's Status Questionable for Worlds

The 2013 World Championships have not even begun and the Russian women's team may already be down another member. During training in Antwerp, Tatiana Nabieva took a fall on a tumbling pass, landing on her head. Nabieva was scheduled for podium training Sunday in subdivision three, however was not able to perform. Nabeieva made an appearance on the podium during the first rotation, uneven bars, did a few basic skills, then sat out the remainder of the rotations.
Earlier this week 2012 Olympic Vault bronze medalist Maria Paseka withdrew from the Russian team with a back injury. No official statement has yet been made regarding Nabieva's status. The remaining Russian team members are World and Olympic Champion Aliya Mustafina and World Championships newcomer Anna Rodionova. Nabieva is the 2011 World Silver Medalist on uneven bars and intended to compete all around here in Antwerp.
