Diana Bulimar INJURED will not compete at World Championships


Very disappointing news to report from Romanian Nationals as Diana Bulimar injured herself during podium training requiring emergency surgery.  Bulimar suffered her injury on the same knee that required surgery in 2010. Bulimar's ill timed injury will not allow her to resume training for a minimum of six weeks forcing her to miss the upcoming World Championships in Belgium taking place later this month.



Diana Bulimar just won the all around, beam, and floor at the 2013 Dutch Friendly.

Bulimar competed in the London Games where she contributed to the team's bronze medal.  At the 2013 European Championship, Bulimar placed second on beam, third on floor and finished fourth in the all around competition.
