"Pike Athletics, based in Tucson, Arizona, is a strength and conditioning company with a primary focus upon functional movement and corrective exercise.  Functional movement authenticity, which is movement free of compensation, should be the goal of every gymnast. Our process begins with a through movement screening and assessment to observe each gymnast’s fundamental movement abilities.  By screening for each gymnast’s weakest link of movement, we can accelerate the learning curve and stave off the inevitable frustration that follows when most gymnasts reach the outer realms of their natural abilities.  Advanced skills are an expression of how well the gymnast has mastered the fundamentals of human movement.
